About Community Testing and Education Center

The Community Testing and Education Center is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.  The CTEC offers free HIV testing, condoms, counseling, education, and prevention to the community at large.  Community Outreach Specialists use OraQuick a non-invasive and bloodless test.  There is no appointment needed and clients receive their results in 20 minutes.  Clients are counseled and referred accordingly once the test has been completed.  All clients are encouraged to maintain safe sex practices and return in 3 months for a follow-up test.

For more information please call (910) 483-5971 during testing hours or (910) 488-6118 during working hours.
