Education and Prevention

Community Outreach Specialists and Health Educators work within the community to provide HIV education and prevention. Throughout the year, they conduct outreach in targeted areas, attend health fairs, and provide education sessions. Additionally, Community Outreach Specialists provide health education, risk reduction, and testing in substance abuse centers, community settings, faith institutions, public schools, and on college and university campuses. The organization collaborates with various community, faith, and business organizations to host education, prevention, and testing events.

In an effort to reduce the number of newly diagnosed HIV cases in the Fayetteville area, we have implemented a network for free condom distribution.
