CHI will utilize education sessions, outreach techniques, training seminars, and evidence-based interventions to provide a range of services:

Consumer Education

• Empower and promote healthy lifestyles.
• Increase knowledge of symptoms, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of health disparities.
• Provide information on accessing the health care system and understanding health insurance and other benefit programs.
• Provide community outreach and educational opportunities to targeted populations in order to reach goals.

Training Seminars for Health Care Providers

• Promote collaboration, training, and consensus building among agencies to implement and develop documented best practices and ensure measurable results for data collection.
• Increase community awareness of health disparities standards and capacity of communities for healthcare advocacy.
• Investigate evidence-based interventions.

Advocacy
