Lynda Bell-ANP-C

Ms. Lynda Bell received her BSN and MSN degrees from Lehman College, Bronx, New York in 1968 and 1972 respectively. In 1973, she was accepted into the Cornell University School of Nursing PRIMEX program where she received her degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.  She has been practicing as a registered nurse from 1966 through 1972. She has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 1974.  Ms. Bell. is a firm believer that a patient’s treatment plan involves a moving working agreement between the patient and the provider with the patient being at the helm. She never lets a patient leave the office without knowing the details of the treatment Lynda Bell-ANP-Cplan so that together they can steer the patient to wellness. In many cases, she has the patient repeat the plan to me. With the patient’s permission, she involves family and friends who are invested in the patient’s wellness. She strongly believes timely folllow-up is a key element of a successful treatment plan. For her, the main attraction of being a nurse practitioner is working with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers on the patient’s behalf. Not only does the patient benefit from having the care planned by providers with expertise in areas such as pharmacokinetics, social services, financial benefits and nursing technology, these providers learn from each other. Ms. Bell’s main focus at South Central Community Health Center is to navigate patients from illness to wellness and promote a healthier state of body and mind.
