“Caring for Our Communities One Family at a Time”
In January, 2017 South Central Community Health Center was founded under the umbrella of Community Health Interventions and Sickle Cell Agency, Inc. as a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The center serves as a preventive and primary health care facility operative in the Raeford community. The health center offers a wide range of services to include adult and family medicine, education, wellness and specialized patient care.
South Central cares for all patients regardless of race, religion, national origin, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, military service or source of payment. We offer a variety of payment options for our patients. We accept almost all private insurance plans, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as offer a sliding scale fee based on income and family size.
South Central believes access to care should not be prevented due to income. We have staff that can assist patients in signing up for public and private insurances. While we are committed to providing affordable care for all our patients, payment is still expected at the time of service, by cash, check, or credit card.
We provide health care to all persons regardless of ability to pay. Services are charged on a sliding fee scale that is based on the patient’s family income and size. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most major medical insurances.
